I'm doing another verse from Philippians this week:
Philippians 1:6 ESV
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."
I'm looking forward to reading your verses, too! I hope that you'll have a little extra time this week to spend with the Lord, preparing to celebrate His resurrection on Easter!
I am also taking our pastor's suggestion and doing Philippians 1:6 (ESV): "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus."

ReplyDeleteHave you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.

Going off of the sermon series, Joy...
ReplyDelete"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James 1:2-4 ESV)
One of my favorites!
DeleteThis has been such an encouragement to me, Thankyou.
ReplyDeleteProv 15: 28 " The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil thngs."

ReplyDeletePs 42:3 Day and night I have only tears for food, while my enemies continually taunt me, saying "Where is this God of yours?"
My life verse:
ReplyDeleteBlessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (Psalm 1:1-3 ESV)
