Verse 5

I'm doing another verse from Philippians this week:
Philippians 1:6 ESV
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."

I'm looking forward to reading your verses, too!  I hope that you'll have a little extra time this week to spend with the Lord, preparing to celebrate His resurrection on Easter!

  1. I am also taking our pastor's suggestion and doing Philippians 1:6 (ESV): "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus."

    Happy Easter, ladies! :)

  3. Isaiah 40:28

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.

  9. Isaiah 53:5

But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities. The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.

  10. Going off of the sermon series, Joy...

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James‬ ‭1‬:‭2-4‬ ESV)

  18. My life verse:
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (‭Psalm‬ ‭1‬:‭1-3‬ ESV)
